Albuquerque celebrates its first official Indigenous People's Day

A broad, Native-led coalition in Albuquerque recently won a historic victory when city council abolished Columbus Day and replaced it with Indigenous People's Day. However, while this shameful, racist holiday will no longer be officially celebrated, attacks on Native communities continue - and so will the movement for justice.
