On April 9 and 10, thousands marched in New York City and a crowd of 1,500 gathered in San Francisco to oppose the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, to support of the Palestinian people, and to call for the funding of people’s needs and an end to the massive budget cuts that are sweeping the country.

In New York City, the crowd marched from Union Square to Foley Square with contingents from the Muslim community, of immigrant rights organizations, student groups and others. In San Francisco, the crowd gathered at Dolores Park before marching. The demonstrations were called by the United National Antiwar Committee (UNAC) and endorsed by many organizations.

ANSWER activist and filmmaker Edward Pages has produced a 6-minute video with images and interviews from the New York City demonstration. Please take a few minutes to watch the video and share it with your friends and contacts.

There are many actions coming up this month. See below for details.
