On the night of the grand jury decision and the day after, thousands of protesters in Washington, D.C. flooded the streets to demand justice for Mike Brown and an end to racist police terror. Prior to the decision the #DCFerguson movement, which organized the response marches, had organized several demonstrations shutting down various business districts across the city.
